Elburg Shipmanagement Phils Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Officer to join our team on a Chemical Tanker vessel. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic maritime environment while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel, ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, and providing excellent crew management.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Ensure safe navigation of the vessel, including route planning, watchkeeping, and collision avoidance.,Monitor and maintain the vessel's mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, generators, and navigation equipment.,Conduct regular safety drills and inspections to ensure compliance with international maritime safety standards.,Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the vessel's operations, including logbooks, maintenance logs, and safety reports.,Provide excellent crew management, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.,Assist the Chief Officer in the management of the vessel's cargo operations, including loading, unloading, and storage.,Participate in emergency response procedures and coordinate with shore-based personnel and authorities as needed.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

STCW Basic Safety Training (BST) or equivalent.,STCW Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF) or equivalent.,STCW Medical First Aid (MFA) or equivalent.,STCW Personal Survival Techniques (PST) or equivalent.,STCW Oil Tanker Familiarization (OTF) or equivalent.,STCW Oil Tanker Operational Familiarization (OTO) or equivalent.,At least 3 years of experience as a Second Officer on a Chemical Tanker vessel.,Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

🛠️ Keahlian

Strong leadership and teamwork skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety procedures.Experience with cargo operations and handling procedures.Ability to work shifts and be on-call as required.
